I get called Jlee/Jay/Marley (any, don't mind!) but my real name is Jamie-lee - originated from the Cypriot word meaning 'beautiful'.
I LOVE photography, I LOVE drawing & I LOVE singing (not that I think I'm particularly good at any of them :L).
Other LOVES: chocolate, jewellery (especially vintage), animals - my cat simba, CHRISTMAS!, the number 18, french boudoir style furniture, American Dad, most food, lazy days, films, ALL MUSIC, bike rides, laughing, being a bit of a nerd, shopping, road trips, the beach, ZOO'S, debating - I'm good at arguing my opinion ;), anime, Banksy, Family Guy, rambling on about stuff people really don't care about...
I'm generally a happy person :) can get grumpy if deprived of food or sleep.

So DeviantArt, long time no see! I apologise for my absence :(
New year and all that, lots of things planned ahead! I recently had my tattoo on my inner forearm done (the roses I've wanted for two years now!) which marks a big moment for me as it was top of my list for this year :)
Me and my boyfriend of three years split up about two months ago, please nobody think 'aw I'm sorry' as its all I've heard! It was my decision and I could not be happier :D We got together when we were 15/16 and we've just grown apart. I need someone with passion and dreams, he just didn't really have that in him. It is difficult to say goodbye to your bestfriend

I feel so guilty. I've been unbelievably busy and tired with my new job that I've neglected my photography :(
Need to get back on it though for the weddings I've got booked next year! Eeek!
So not a lot is going on at the moment, other than the fact I really want a puppy. I haven't missed having a dog so much since we first had to let go of our German Shepherd (T-bo) years ago. This upsets me still :( So I'm trying to work on mum, showing her photos of Border Collie puppies and finding quite low prices, telling her I'll go halves... not quite working yet damn it. Persistance!!
Other than that I'm just incredibly sleepy! Struggling to stay

New Year, Fresh Beginnings.

So, this year I decided I wouldn't make a New Year's Resolution as the cliche is that you forget/give up on it a couple of months in (if you make it that far). Instead, I decided I am just going to make change.
1. My Family, my home. These people come first, no matter what. & I will do all I can to help out & keep them all happy.
2. My Boyfriend, my life. I nearly messed things up between us towards the end of last year, as did he, so we're both making changes in our relationship: having the time to just sit and cuddle; talk about issues as soon as they become a worry; try and get out (cinema, meal etc.) at least once a month... Just be Hap
